Clenbuterol for Weight Loss
The effects of clenbuterol on weight loss and muscle growth were written about on a blog post  for the Laboratory for Intelligent Imaging and Neural Computing (LIINC) at the FU Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science of Columbia University. The LIINC acknowledges clenbuterol as having “earned the honorary title of one of the most effective fat burners in the world.” Here is an excerpt from the post, which references a human trial on clenbuterol with measurable results not only on weight loss but also on muscle retention during the weight-loss period. Participants in the trial using clenbuterol lost 30% more weight than those taking a placebo.
“A great deal of research has been done on this subject. In one of them, overweight men were put on a strict diet, with limited calorie content and low fat content in their diet. The total number of people was divided into two groups, one taking clenbuterol and the other not. in 10 weeks, the group taking the steroid gets rid of an average of 11.4 kg of fatty layer. The control group, which was only on a strict diet, got rid of only 8.7 kg. At first glance, the difference between these results does not seem to be too great, but with careful consideration of the results, it was proved that the men in the control group lost 5.2 kg of fat and 3.5 kg of muscle. The Clenbuterol group added 1.2 kg of muscle mass to the group, losing 12.6 kg of fat.”
How Much Clenbuterol to Take for Weight Loss
In terms of optimal dosage, here is another excerpt from the LIINC blog post with recommendations for taking clenbuterol to achieve weight loss for both men and women:
“The optimal dosage for men to cut and lose weight is 120-140 µg per day. Clenbuterol slimming cycle for girls should be half as weak as for men, for slimming it is recommended to use the range of 80-100 µg per day.”
It should be mentioned that the LIINC post does not recommend taking clenbuterol for weight loss. It simply reports that it is commonly used by athletes such as bodybuilders for weight loss during cutting cycles. It offers a scientific take on clenbuterol effects because of its ability to launch lipolysis (a number of processes contributing to fat burning).
